The department of Economics established in 1948Economics Department is a PG department Providing guidance to students (UG as well as PG students) to get well versed with curriculum as well as banking and financial sector. Department is running B.A(Hons. school in Economics), B.A pass course in Economics and M.A(Economics) with the help of five competent and dedicated faculty members.

18 Nov’2022 Extension lecture was organised under the aegis of Planning Forum on 18 Nov’2022. This lecture was delivered by Assistant General Manager Gurmeet Singh (retired from Security Paper Mills, Hoshangabad) in which he explained about the process of printing of currency notes by RBI. 100
